Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE:MI) is the active loser of today`s trade as it plunges 6.03% to $5.61 on unusual volume of 14.45 million shares. The stock hit an intraday high and intraday low of $6 and $5.48 respectively. So far the stock price declined over 15% in last six months of trade.  Marshall & Ilsley Corporation is a bank holding company. M&I provides diversified financial services to a variety of corporate, institutional, government and individual customers.

Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) corrected 5.89% or $0.08 to $1.28 on over 14.62 million shares. The stock hit an intraday high and intraday low of $1.35 and $1.24 respectively. So far the stock price jumped over 58% in last six months of trade. Freddie Mac is engaged in purchasing residential mortgages and mortgage-related securities in the secondary mortgage market and securitizing them into mortgage-related securities that can be sold to investors.

KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY) plunges 4.01% to $6.22 on a volume of 15.47 million shares after First Capital, a leading financial services firm, announced that it had closed a $40 million financing facility with Key Equipment Finance, an affiliate of KeyCorp. The senior-secured facility is a participation in one of First Capital’s existing financing facilities with WestLB. That facility was increased from $160 million to $200 million. Overall, WestLB’s total credit facilities to First Capital increased to $375 million.
