Mohawk Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MHK) has appointed W. Christopher Wellborn as their President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Wellborn has held the position of Chief Operating Officer since November 2005 and served on the Board of Directors since 2002. From March 2002 to November 2005 he served as President of Dal-Tile, Mohawk's ceramic and stone products business.
