Cool Toys for the Coolest Season of the Year…

Designing Spaces is always keeping up with the latest technologies. With the holidays just around the corner-- they sought out some of the newest toys with the latest in cutting-edge technology. It didn’t take long to invite Mattel to this special holiday edition of Designing Spaces. They’ve come up with a new line of action figures—based on an upcoming 20th Century Fox adventure film! Tune into Designing Spaces for the Holidays, joined by Mattel airing November 13th at 7:30 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on the WE network and October 14th at 7:00 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on TLC.
Joining this special holiday edition of Designing Spaces is Rob Novickas, from Mattel. He’s going to show off some exciting new toy’s just now making their appearance at retail stores nationwide!
Rob says, “I’m very excited to be with you today to introduce a new line of ground-breaking action figures based on Twentieth Century Fox’s highly anticipated epic adventure film, Avatar, which opens in theaters on December 18th. The line includes characters, creatures and vehicles from the landmark film, and is the first toy line to incorporate augmented reality technology, allowing for three dimensional play by mixing real and virtual worlds together in real time”.
The action figures go beyond cutting edge technology! Rob adds, “Mattel’s Avatar action figures are the first toys to incorporate augmented reality, allowing for three dimensional play on your computer in real time. Each action figure includes a free unique i-TAG, modeled after the id tags worn by the film’s human characters”.
