Dennis Cole, Actor Once Married to Jaclyn Smith, Dies at 69

Dennis Cole, the TV actor once married to Charlie’s Angels star Jaclyn Smith, has died. Cole died Sunday at Holy Cross Hospital. The cause of death was not released. He was 69.

Cole worked as a stuntman in Hollywood before landing guest roles on TV shows. His acting career began in the mid-60s with appearances on Paradise Bay and Felony Squad. Cole later appeared in many TV series’ including The Young and the Restless, Fantasy Island, and Charlie’s Angels.

Cole met Smith on the set of Charlie’s Angels. They married in 1978 and divorced 3 years later.

Cole left acting after the 1991 murder of his son Joey. He eventually became a real estate broker in Fort Lauderdale.
