Shooting Suspects at University of Miami in Custody

The University of Miami was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after at least two suspects fired a BB-gun on campus. An alert was issued at 2:42 p.m. advising all students and faculty to stay indoors until further notice.
About 2 hours after the shooting UM official lifted the lockdown. “The campus is safe and secure and has been re-opened,” said a message posted on the university’s website.
The identities of the suspects were not released. No other details on the shooting were available. No injuries were reported.
