XL Capital Ltd. (NYSE: XL) has appointed W. Myron Hendry to the position of Chief Platform Officer. He will assume the position on December 1st and will be responsible for all operational IT support of the company. He will be reporting to the company's CEO, Michael S. McGavick and serve on their Leadership Team. Prior to this appointment he was the Business Operations Executive of B of A's Insurance Group.
