Willa Ford marries Dallas Stars hockey player Mike Modano

Willa Ford tied the knot with Dallas Stars hockey player Mike Modano on Saturday. The actress and Modano where married in Athens, Texas in front of 75 guests at a private ranch.

Ford and Modano have had an on-again off-again relationship for more than four years. They where engaged during Thanksgiving holiday in 2006. Earlier this year the couple bought a house together and says they want to start a family.

“I’m really one of those old fashioned Southern girls who wants to get married, have a little time as newlyweds and then have babies,” Ford says. She also said Modano “grounds” her.

Ford competed in season three of the hit show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and recently finished filming the new thriller ‘Impulse.’ Ford landed the starring role as Anna Nicole Smith in a biopic. She is also trying to resurrect her singing career.
