Britney Spears may join Lindsay Lohan if family has their way

Britney Spears family is desperate for her to join actress Lindsay Lohan in rehab as they think the facility did wonders for the troubled actress. Spears was recently ordered to take random drug twice a week after a judge ruled that she was a habitual user of alcohol and controlled substances.

Spears has continued hitting the party scene in Los Angeles although the judge who rules in her custody case with Kevin Federline ordered the couple not to drink within 12 hours of being with their sons.

Spears’ family wants her to go to the same Utah rehab facility that Lindsay Lohan is currently seeking treatment. “If Britney finally acknowledges that she must face her addictions, then that’s the best place. It’s working for Lindsay, and hopefully Britney will see that as inspiration,” a source says.

The source adds that Spears’ mother, Lynne, became more concerned about her daughter after a friend of the troubled singer called her. “It was one Britney’s friends saying he’d seen Britney take four ecstasy pills in the bedroom of a Hollywood Hills home during a party on August 11,” the source said.

“Lynne was also told that Britney has dine the drug more recently – and she’s taken Ativan, an anti-anxiety medication, to help her come down because the ecstasy was so intense. Lynne put done the phone and froze.”
