General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has appointed Robert W. Helm to the company as its Senior VP of Planning and Development on May 3, 2010. Mr. Helm will report directly to their President and CEO, Jay L. Johnson.

In this position, Helm will be responsible for Government Relations, Strategic Planning, International Business Analysis and Compliance, Investor Relations and Communications.


Mr. Helm worked for Northrop Grumman for 21 years, most recently as Corporate VP of Government Relations. Before joining Northrop Grumman he served as VP of Business Development, Space and Aviation Systems, with Honeywell Inc.
