A Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship crashed into a Manhattan pier on Sunday damaging beams that support parking lots but causing no injuries.

The Norwegian Spirit was due in to New York on Sunday following a run through the Caribbean. During its approach to Pier 90 the ship collided with the beams.

Officials have said the parking lots are not in danger of collapsing.
