Gary Coleman Hits Pedestrian with Truck After Altercation
Atlanta, GA 9/08/2008 03:52 PM GMT (FINDITT)
Actor Gary Coleman reportedly hit a pedestrian in his truck after arguing with the man in a bowling alley. According to Salt lake City police Lieutenant Bill Wright, Coleman and 24-year-old Colt Rushton got into an altercation early Saturday morning.
The pair were allegedly fighting over Rushton photographing Coleman. They continued arguing in the parking lot of the bowling alley before Coleman, 40, got into his truck to leave. He hit Rushton and another vehicle as he was backing out of a parking space.
Rushton was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The former ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ actor was not arrested or charged in the incident. Coleman is no stranger to public altercations. In 1998, he was charged with assault after punching a woman in the face for arguing with him over getting his autograph. In 2007, he was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct in Provo, Utah for having a “heated discussion” with his future wife Shannon Price.
Coleman and Price appeared on an episode of ‘Divorce Court’ in May as they were having marital problems. Price said Coleman has “anger issues.”
