Heather Mills is fighting back against rumors again. The former model has denied reports that she plans to write a novel based on her own life as a model who marries a rock star.
Mills, 40, tells People magazine that she is just “trying to move on” after a nasty divorce battle with Beatles singer Paul McCartney. “These book rumors are nonsense. I am trying to move on, spend time with my daughter and get on with my charitable work. It’s been a terrible period for everyone,” she says.
Over the past year, Mills has had to defend herself against what she calls “media attacks” and claims that she married McCartney for his money. Mill and McCartney were married in 2002 and separated in 2006. Their divorce was finalized in March 2008 with Mills receiving a $50 million settlement.
