Elisabeth Hasselbeck: I’m Not Leaving The View

Elisabeth Hasselbeck says she is not leaving her position on The View despite reports claiming she may leave the talk show for a job with Fox News Channel.
“While Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving The View. Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations," her rep said in a statement released Thursday.
The rumors were sparked after the 31-year-old got in several heated discussions over her support for Republican presidential candidate John McCain and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Hasselbeck’s co-hosts – Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd – seem to lean in favor of more liberal views.
She made several appearances on Fox News over the past year including an appearance on former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’s new talk show. Hasselbeck also attended the Republican National Convention and hosted a luncheon for Cindy McCain.
