There is a great sense of well being and wellness when we look good.  Artistic Academy of Hair Design and Aesthetics certainly believes that statement to be true.  On several occasions throughout the year, guests from Hope House, located in Dover, New Jersey, are invited to Artistic Academy to enjoy a “Day of Beauty”.  Hope House meets the social service needs of individuals and families in the community.  They are highly effective in three key service areas:  Behavioral Health, Senior Home Services, and services to individuals with HIV and AIDS.

Hope House guests have the opportunity to choose services from our Student Salon Menu which offers facials, hair color, back facials, conditioning treatments, spa manicures, spa pedicures, and hairstyling, to name a few.  These services are performed by senior level students in our Student Salon and Spa.  To view Artistic Academy’s menu of services please visit their web site at www.artisticacademy.com. 

It is important to Artistic Academy that their student body realizes the potential they possess within the scope of their studies.  Making people look good, therefore allowing them to feel good about themselves is a tremendous gift.  Artistic Academy students have the ability to give this gift to their clients, especially those facing hardship and adversity, ones who may need it the most.

Artistic Academy also facilitated a “Tag Day” for its students and staff with all proceeds donated to Hope House.  Some of Artistic Academy students, along with the Academy Director, presented Hope House with a check for $500.00.  Needless to say Hope House is very grateful to Artistic Academy for their continued support.  As indicated in the Artistic Academy Mission Statement:  “We strive to exceed not only what is expected from us, but also what we expect of ourselves”…..
